Research Interests
  • The environmental fate of commonly used pesticides and their metabolites by conducting field and laboratory experiments that will determine relative adsorption, mobility, volatility, degradation, drift, uptake from soil, water, and plants.

  • Water quality issues as related to off-site movement (surface runoff and leaching) of pesticides applied within various agronomic situations.

  • Methodology that would facilitate safe and efficient analysis of pesticides from soil, water, and plant material.

  • Agronomic issues related to environmental fate of pesticides, herbicide carryover, and herbicide resistance.
